In Lent 2018 the pastors preached on evil and Christ’s triumph over it. The series focused on unmasking the devil’s guises and the power of God to sustain and protect His people. The image is from an icon-style image of Christ sending away the devil/a demon. To listen to this series, click here.

Newness of Life

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4

During the season of Epiphany in 2018 Zion’s pastors offered a six-part sermon series: Newness of Life. What life does Christ give us to live? Each sermon presents a different answer to that question, unpacking the specific character, callings and freedoms of the Christian Life. To listen to this series, click here.

Celebrating 500 Years of the Reformation

On October 31, 1517, blessed Martin Luther posted the 95 Theses that would spark a church-wide reformation. As we remember that event’s anniversary, a series of sermons will explain the Lutheran Church. To listen to this series, click here.

A Simple Way

The Lutheran church uses Martin Luther’s “Small Catechism” to teach the Christian faith “in a simple way.” Yet the catechism is more than a way of learning: it’s a simple way of living! A sermon series on the six parts of the Catechism occurred from October 2016 through May 2017. To listen to this series, click here.
