COVID 19 Response

COVID-19 Update:

Churches remain open under Governor Evers’ newest order limiting some gatherings to 25% capacity. Churches, as well as child cares, schools, and health care institutions, are exempt from this order. Moreover, due to Zion’s large size, all of our services are already under 25% capacity, and sometimes under 15%. Zion continues to observe social distancing and other precautions.

    Winter Cancellation Policy and COVID-19

Zion’s cancellation policy remains in place for this year: Zion does not close for inclement weather. Please make wise decisions for your circumstances and do not put yourself in danger.

This policy currently serves for COVID-19 related concerns, as well: Please make wise choices for your circumstance. Our radio and online schedule will stay steady. Both weekend services and the 12:15 PM weekday services (usually around 1-5 people) continue, as does church education, with social distancing and other precautionary measures respected. Singing will also continue for the foreseeable future. To date, three scientific studies, conducted by medical personnel and scientists at respected and mainline institutions of research, indicate that congregational singing poses no increased threat for viral transmission.

Please pray for the health of our land, a safe winter, and the work of all our emergency and caring professions.
