Helping Hands Needed for Cookie Baking

Sooner than you think, we will have 8 days of cookie baking in the church kitchen in preparation for the 31st Annual Cookie Sale on December 4. The more hands we have, the quicker we get done. All are welcome to join us: men and women, young and old!

Thursday, November 18 is our biggest day of cookie baking! This is the day we make our cut-out cookies: our biggest seller! We will mix dough, roll out dough, cut out the cookies, bake the cookies and then frost them, and leave them to dry until Friday, so the they are ready for painters to paint. We need as many hands as possible starting at 8:30 a.m. until finished. Any amount of time you can donate will help. We really appreciate all the people who help with making and frosting cutouts on cutout baking day!

We will do cut-out cookie painting on Monday, November 29 from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Come and check us out, as we have fun!

What we do is not hard labor, but “putsy” work. You can sit and chat while you are working. We will bake and decorate the remaining sale cookies in the church kitchen November 29 & 30 and December 1, 2 & 3 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Come when you can and leave when you must! Any amount of time you give us will be helpful.

Come enjoy the wafting smells of cookies, good fellowship and fun, and help get the work done!

**Special Note for Buyers: This year, please plan on bringing your own containers to fill with cookies, as we will have a limited number of containers. They will
be weighed prior to filling.
